Providing a local community response to climate change and peak oil

We want to help Beeston become less dependent on oil and prepare for a low-fossil fuel economy.  Our interests include food, energy, transport, local economy and community issues.  More information about Beeston Transition Initiative is available here.

Please note that currently all our activities are taking place under Greening Beeston.

The local Greening Campaign has won a grant of £5,000 for Phase 2.
