On 4th August we watched 'Power of Community - How Cuba Survived Peak Oil' -an inspiring film which shows what can happen when the community works together with a common goal. This was followed by a brainstorming session where those present separated into smaller groups to talk about the impact of peak oil - what their concerns were and positive ways to address these. The main issues included:
Health - Energy - Transport - Social Issues - Leisure

We were very pleased to welcome several new members to the group - the word is spreading and the bigger we are, the more impact we can have locally.
